SCVS - Poverty Truth Commission Facilitator Poverty Truth Commissions (PTC) are about bringing change, changing communities, organisations and behaviours and attitudes towards poverty and taking action to tackle it. Swansea is the first area in Wales to hold a Poverty Truth Commission. Poverty Truth Commission Facilitator Accountable to: Health and Wellbeing Partnerships Manager Location: Swansea CVS covering Swansea Hours: 21 hours per week, the post is funded in the first instance for 1 year from start date Salary: SCP 25 (£28,785 pro-rata) PTCs bring together people who have direct lived experience of poverty with key decision makers to form a group of commissioners who meet together to work on issues guided by the experience of Community Commissioners. As part of a small team, the post holder will facilitate all aspects of delivery of the Swansea Poverty Truth Commission through its lifecycle as directed by Commissioners.
