They are currently recruiting for 2 posts:

Project Administrator

  • Salary: £5,760 per annum
  • Contract type: Fixed term from January 2018 to June 2018 (6months)
  • Status: Part-time at 12 hours per week (FTE £19,200)

They are looking for an enthusiastic person with experience of data entry, finance and office administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day general administration of the project, assisting the project coordinator and supporting the staff team. To act as the main point of contact for service-users, visitors and callers, including reception duties. 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the CEO and staff team
  • Provide support for the project including assisting with administration of project work where appropriate and when agreed

Undertake general administrative duties including: 

  • General word processing 
  • Filing, copying and faxing 
  • Collation and distribution of minutes, reports and other documents
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail and general emails, ordering of equipment, materials and office supplies 
  • Minute taking for Board, team meetings and other meetings as required
  • Support volunteers in a variety of roles across the organisation
  • Liaise with external organisations to promote CAE’s volunteering opportunities via a wide range of communication methods.

Engagement Officer 

  • Salary: £12,000 per annum
  • Contract type: Fixed term from January 2018 to June 2018 (6months)
  • Status: Part-time at 20 hours per week (FTE £24,000)

They are looking for an enthusiastic person with experience of engaging with unemployed and disadvantaged people. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging and recruiting long-term unemployed and over 25-year-old people to participate in their training, workshops, and events. The post holder will support the planning and delivery of activities to engage eligible participants in the Swansea area.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and recruit service users, project participants, and volunteers and ensure the expected numbers of people are retained on projects
  • Grow, update and strengthen local relationships with community, BAME groups and support agencies
  • Support the Project Manager to co-organise key events, training, and workshops
  • Support the preparation and delivery of workshops, and other activities, ensuring high quality, enjoyable learning experiences centred on the needs of the participants
