South Wales Victim Focus is looking for a full-time Victim Focus Manager covering Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot.

Victim Focus Manager

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hrs a week

Salary: £26,530.20 per annum

Contract type: Fixed Term until March 2022

Location: Homeworking initially, then at Cockett Police Station, Swansea

The purpose of this role is to lead and manage one of three Victim Focus Teams, ensuring that South Wales Victim Focus realise their aim of helping people cope and recover from the effects of crime.

South Wales Victim Focus serves diverse communities, many of whom experience a range of barriers that may impact on their ability to cope and recover from what they have experienced. These can include financial distress; social isolation; reduced mobility; mental and physical health issues; substance use and lack of opportunity. South Wales Victim Focus aims to identify what matters to service users and empower them to take control of their journey.

The nature of service required will vary depending on individual circumstances and will range from short term intervention, to deal with a specific issue, or on-going support addressing a range of needs, potentially including safeguarding and/or supporting individuals through a lengthy criminal justice process.
