West Glamorgan Citizens Forum Co production group poster January 2020Have you used health or social care services, or cared for someone that has? Join the West Glamorgan Citizen Forum and Coproduction Group to be part of sharing the power to design, develop and deliver health and social services in the area.

West Glamorgan Regional Partnership (WGRP), which operates across Swansea and Neath Port Talbot, is striving to work co-productively with citizens (including unpaid, family carers) within each work stream to ensure that citizens share power to design, develop and deliver health and social services.

Co-production is a relationship where professionals and citizens share power to plan and deliver support.

The West Glamorgan Regional Partnership is one of seven regional collaborations across Wales, and is responsible for delivering a series of specific projects and programmes designed to explore new and innovative ways of delivering health and social care services.

The Citizen Forum will meet around four times a year, with optional task and finish groups if needed in between.

Citizens currently involved with the Forum have developed a citizen led Facebook page to engage the wider public in updates on the partnerships various work streams, and to encourage discussion on specific health and social care related topics.
