Financial Safeguarding - FREE COURSE - Online

This course will improve your awareness of mental capacity and financial safeguarding issues.

Trainer: Joseph Brophy - Qualia Law

Cost: Free course

Qualia Law provides free training, education sessions and advice on the topics of: mental capacity, financial safeguarding and the Court of Protection.

Their sessions are delivered by expert, specialist Solicitors and are tailored to suit: neurodiverse people; families; carers and professionals in the social care and third sectors.

Attendees of their free education sessions also have follow-up access to our free, impartial legal advice line.

Learning Objectives:

Understanding what the Court of Protection is and its function.
Improving awareness of mental capacity and financial safeguarding issues.
Comparing LPA, Deputyship, and knowing how to refer for advice.

This course is free of charge but if you fail to attend or you provide less than two week's cancellation notice will be charged a fee of £20. If you find that you are unable to attend, we do allow and encourage you to find someone to take your place on the course, if this is possible for us to do for you at the time.
