This course follows the Level 2 Award in Food Safety syllabus with emphasis on cooking in an outdoors environment and specific requirements of Environmental Health Officers.

Course Overview

The course covers topics such as types of bacteria, contamination and cross contamination, temperature danger, hand washing and PPE, waste and pests, and stage cleaning. The course concludes with an examination and the qualification is accredited by RSPH (Royal Society for Public Health).
