Eligibility for Swansea Youth Bank Grants:

  • The project must take place in or benefit Swansea
  • The project must be fully youth-led (ran at all levels by young people). If all of the young people are under the age of 18, there must be an adult to have accountability (18+)
  • Your group must be made up of at least 3 people between the ages of 11-25
  • Your project will encourage and support youth volunteering (not necessarily new opportunities)
  • Your project must have a positive impact on the wider community
  • You have formed a group and have a set of rules

£1000 is the current maximum your project can apply for.

Swansea Youth Bank has been set up thanks to a partnership between Swansea Council for Voluntary Service and Swansea's Youth Service.

Swansea Youth Bank has recently acquired additional funding to distribute to youth-led projects in Swansea - Grant round opens on Thursday 1st November 2018

Be quick, this is a time-limited opportunity. The application window is only 3 weeks long, so get applying today! Grants will be allocated as groups apply, all funding could be fully allocated before the end date, so early applications are strongly recommended.

What could your youth project do with up to £1000?

Projects must benefit the wider community, be youth-led and create volunteering opportunities.

For this round of Swansea Youth Bank’s applications, priority will be given to projects that focus on early years (0-7), housing, social care, mental health or skills & employability. If your project is not directly about these areas, you are still welcome to apply.
