Words Involve Volunteers use to describe their experienceInvolve Volunteering Project is a partnership between Swansea Council for Voluntary Service, Swansea Council's Social Services Department, SBUHB and Swansea City of Sanctuary.

Established in November 1987, Involve is one of SCVS’s own volunteering projects. Our volunteers provide local people with support.  Volunteers befriend children, young people, adults or families in our local community on a one to one basis, or in a group setting.

All Volunteers have to satisfy our safeguarding requirements, by providing two references and undertaking a Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS). Volunteers also need to attend a two-day or four-evening Induction training course.

Find out more about the projects within Involve below.
