Swansea Community Transport Hub

Bus image royalty freeSwansea Community Transport Hub is the new, central point offering one number to book community transport across the range of schemes in Swansea.

Community transport is for individuals who have difficulty accessing or using conventional modes of transport.

The Hub is available Mon-Fri, 10am-1pm – call 01792 978844 / Email: [email protected] to book community transport in Swansea.

Please note: Community transport is not a taxi service and cannot pick up requests for same day appointments - We need 72 hours-notice. We will let you know the rates per mile when you book with us.

The Community Transport Hub can also help local community transport providers with:

-    Recruitment and training of volunteer drivers to increase the capacity of your scheme
-    A range of training to upskill your volunteer drivers
-    A central number for bookings in Swansea (therefore decreasing the number of direct calls to your scheme volunteers)
-    Development support to sustain and grow your scheme
-    Support to get community transport options for your group (e.g. minibus for group activities, van to transport items, etc)

Motability Foundation The Hub also offers support to people / organisations that would like to develop new transport initiatives in the area.

Linked to this, there is also a Community Transport Forum which takes place bi-monthly – click here for more information.
