Llwchwr Healthy Lifestyles Project poster 2024 A4The 18-month project will run until March 2026, and has been funded by the Llwchwr Cluster. It is administered by SCVS (Swansea Council for Voluntary Service).

Participants can access three different group programmes that will be delivered throughout the Llwchwr area. Lifestyle Coaches will also work with individuals on a 1:1 basis to develop a tailored wellbeing plan and provide ongoing support and information to achieve agreed goals.

The three programmes:

Cooking and Nutrition - A 6-week practical cookery course with nutritional information to improve your health and wellbeing

Health and Wellbeing – Re-set yourself and take a whole approach to wellbeing.  Looking at the importance of good nutrition, increasing your physical activity levels and allowing yourself time to look after your own mental health.

Community Food and Nutrition Level 1 - This accredited course will help develop your knowledge and skills of food by learning more about eating well, and the benefits of good nutrition to health, creating balanced meals and planning healthy menus.

If you are over 18 years old and are registered to a Llwchwr GP practice you can sign up for one of the courses by emailing:
