We aim to be the trusted hub in Swansea for accessing the voice and expertise of the sector and local communities.

We champion excellence by modelling best practices and driving continuous improvement across the sector. By securing resources, we strengthen and support community organisations.

We facilitate the exchange of knowledge, best practices, and policy insights to empower collaboration and innovation.

We promote social inclusion by ensuring all voices are heard and by supporting individuals and communities to realise their aspirations.

    SCVS are governed by a Board of Trustees made up of representatives of local third sector organisations in membership, and co-opted people with specialist skills and experience, ensuring that the support we offer is relevant, needed and valued by the local sector.

    The Mental Health and Wellbeing Volunteering Project, funded by SBUHB and managed by SCVS, is a wellbeing support Project for people with mental ill health.

  • New Ways to Wellbeing

    Swansea's Social Prescribing Service. SCVS is working in partnership with 5 SBUHB GP clusters across Swansea to deliver a Social Prescribing Service – ‘New Ways to Wellbeing’.
