Our training

To survive and thrive, third sector organisations need to develop and update their skills, knowledge and confidence.  We offer a wide variety of quality training towards this end to members of voluntary organisations in the Swansea area.  Both accredited and non-accredited courses are available.  Our courses are accessible and affordable.

Bespoke training

Although we offer a wide variety of courses in our open programme, there may be a course your organisation needs that is not currently available. Alternatively, you may have a group of twelve or more staff and/or volunteers who need a particular course. Our flexible bespoke courses can possibly help you in this situation. Read more

    SCVS are governed by a Board of Trustees made up of representatives of local third sector organisations in membership, and co-opted people with specialist skills and experience, ensuring that the support we offer is relevant, needed and valued by the local sector.

    Swansea's Social Prescribing Service. SCVS is working in partnership with 5 SBUHB GP clusters across Swansea to deliver a Social Prescribing Service – ‘New Ways to Wellbeing’.
