Stepping in to Management is a 2 day management foundation programme.  The programme will meet the needs of new voluntary sector managers and will be useful for team leaders in the public sector too. The course is aimed at staff who are new to managing people or staff who may want to progress into management roles in the future.

Two day course taking place on 3rd & 10th July, 9.45 - 4 on both days.

Course objectives:

  • Understand the role of the manager
  • Understand how to build motivation and trust within the team
  • Build confidence in your interpersonal communication skills
  • Have techniques for managing time and multiple priorities and how to delegate effectively.
  • Know how to identify and manage staff performance
  • Understand the process of managing change confidently

Please note that if you fail to attend or you provide less than 2 weeks' cancellation notice you will be charged the full amount. If you find that you are unable to attend, we do allow and encourage you to find someone to take your place on the course, if this is possible for us to do for you at the time.
