Take the opportunity to adapt your bid-writing to produce competitive bids, effectively and efficiently.

Trainer: Lauren Howlett

This course will be held face to face.

"Would recommend to anyone interested in attempting to fill applications as it demystifies the process. Breaks it down into bite size chunks."

The current funding climate requires third sector organisations to be vigilant and prepared in order to sustain themselves financially. Economic changes have resulted in a more highly competitive grants market meaning bids must be well developed and executed, however big or small. This practical course takes a holistic approach to grant funding based on key principles, whilst allowing you to practise and assess your skills with peers.

Helped me see what I have been doing right, but more importantly, how I can improve the applications I develop

Course Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the current funding climate in Wales and its impact on funders
  • Review your current approach of developing a bid
  • Apply new tools and techniques to give their bids a winning ‘edge’
  • Understand and meet the expectations of funders

"More confident in my decisions relating to applying or not to particular funders."
