Emergency First Aid at Work: 1 Day Course NUCO Accredited - Face to face

Please note that the date was originally advertised as 22nd June but will now take place on 23rd June.

Gain the knowledge and understanding of a selection of different emergencies that will enable you to assist with any that you may come across.

23rd June, 10 - 5, face to face (venue will be confirmed upon booking).

Please ensure that you wear comfortable/suitable clothing (e.g. trousers, short, or leggings) that will enable you to engage with the practical elements of the course. Please refrain from wearing short dresses/skirts.

Course Learning Objectives:

• Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider
• Know how to assess an incident
• Manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally
• Manage and unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally
• Recognise and assist a casualty who is choking
• Manage a casualty who is wounded and bleeding
• Understand how to manage a casualty with a minor injury
• Understand how to manage a variety of conditions

The qualification for this First Aid course is obtained through NUCO. NUCO Training is an approved centre with an Ofqual and SQA regulated awarding organisation - First Aid Awards. Click here for more information.

Please note that if you fail to attend or you provide less than 2 weeks' cancellation notice you will be charged the full amount. If you find that you are unable to attend, we do allow and encourage you to find someone to take your place on the course.
