Swansea Funding Forum (September)

Swansea Funding Forum is a members’ network made up of staff, trustees and volunteers involved in funding their third sector organisations. The forum meets quarterly to develop and share best practice around funding the third sector in Swansea.

Swansea Funding Forum provides an opportunity to meet funders, explore current themes in fundraising, receive peer support, network and explore working in partnership.

At the forum you can expect to

receive briefings on current funds available

have the opportunity to meet funders and ask them questions

receive peer support on a range of fundraising topics from writing funding bids to developing your organisation’s individual giving

share and receive tips on income diversification

The forum is an unbiased independent group, led by its members and facilitated by SCVS.

Membership of Swansea Funding Forum is free.

Involve

Involve has a variety of schemes that engage people in need in Swansea. Involve recruit, train and support volunteers to be in a befriending/ Independent visitor role on a one to one or in a group setting to meet the needs of individual children, young people, families, adults with various needs or older people.
Membership

SCVS are governed by a Board of Trustees made up of representatives of local third sector organisations in membership, and co-opted people with specialist skills and experience, ensuring that the support we offer is relevant, needed and valued by the local sector.
Mental Health and Wellbeing Volunteering Project

The Mental Health and Wellbeing Volunteer Project, funded by SBUHB and managed by SCVS, is a social support Project for people with mental ill health.
