Community Transport Forum

The Community Transport Forum is a peer support network for community transport providers to discuss ideas, issues and develop solutions together.

Forum meetings take place bi-monthly, last 1.5 to 2 hours, and are a mix of online and in person.

West Glamorgan Regional Partnership -Section 16 Forum

Section 16 places a duty on local authorities to promote social enterprises, co-operatives, user-led services and other third sector organisations for the provision of care and support and preventative services. Mental Health Forum

The Mental Health Forum is an umbrella group of organisations working in the City and County of Swansea who have an interest in mental health and emotional well-being.
Regional health social care and wellbeing network

The Regional Health, Social Care and Wellbeing (HSCWB) network exists to ensure strong communication between the Third Sector in Swansea and Neath Port Talbot and Swansea Bay University Health Board (SBUHB), and more recently, the West Glamorgan Regional Programme Team.

Involve

Involve has a variety of schemes that engage people in need in Swansea. Involve recruit, train and support volunteers to be in a befriending/ Independent visitor role on a one to one or in a group setting to meet the needs of individual children, young people, families, adults with various needs or older people.
Membership

SCVS are governed by a Board of Trustees made up of representatives of local third sector organisations in membership, and co-opted people with specialist skills and experience, ensuring that the support we offer is relevant, needed and valued by the local sector.
