Mynydd y Gwair Wind Farm Community Fund Round 14 open

Round 14 is now open for Micro Grants up to £2,000, and Main Grants up to £30,000 – in addition, Expressions of Interest for Strategic projects due to start in 2025 and worth up to £100,000 are also now open!

The Mynydd y Gwair Wind Farm Community Fund provides grants to organisations providing services, facilities or activities that benefit the communities within the area of benefit for the Mynydd y Gwair Wind Farm Community Fund.

This includes the following Community/Town Council areas: Llangyfelach, Pontlliw and Tircoed, Pontarddulais, Mawr, Penllergaer, Clydach and Morriston.

Closing date for Main Grant and Micro Grant applications - 12noon, 20th May 2024 (Panel Decision June 2024)

Closing date for Strategic Grant Expressions of Interest - 12noon, 20th September 2024

Please note – There is a is a two-stage application process for the Strategic Grant: the initial EOI should be submitted to the grants panel who will decide whether applicants will be invited to submit a second stage application.

Involve

Involve has a variety of schemes that engage people in need in Swansea.
