In Round 18, 8 successful applicants were awarded a total of £79,236.

Round 18 ran from 18th February to 5th March 2026 for applications for Main and Micro grants from third sector organisations, social enterprises, schools and Town and Community Councils in the areas of benefit.

Main grants:

Clydach Community Council - Contribution to Vardre Community Hall renovations, including roof repairs and remodelling of toilet facilities

Pontarddulais Cricket Club - To replace the netting and batting curtain for its two‑bay outdoor practice facility, which has served as a key training asset for players across all age groups.

Swansea Canal Society - To make lock gates fully operable we require funding for the manufacture of the lock paddles and gearing to operate the new lock gates installed. This will allow the Swansea Canal Society to achieve its long-term goal to run a trip boat along the canal.

City of Swansea Pipe Band - This project will equip the City of Swansea Pipe Band with essential uniform items and training clothing to ensure that every member – regardless of age, background, or financial circumstances – can participate fully in performances, parades, and community events.

Vadre RFC - Increase energy efficiency by replcing Broken-Field Halogen Floodlights with LED floodlights.

Friends of Pontlliw Park Ltd - Phase 3 of the installation of a woodland walk through the wooded area of Pontlliw Park

Micro Grants
