The Mynydd y Gwair Wind Farm Community Fund will provide grants to organisations providing services, facilities or activities that benefit the communities within the area of benefit for the Mynydd y Gwair Local Community Fund.

This includes the following Community/Town Council areas: Llangyfelach, Pontlliw and Tircoed, Pontarddulais, Mawr, Penllergaer, Clydach and Morriston. 

Round 9 has just opened for:

Small grants of up to £10,000

Covering revenue grants including core costs; small capital items

Applications will in general be for one year, but can be made for two years if the grant is for recovery from Covid-19.

Medium Grants of up to £30,000

Applications for capital projects and revenue bids for one off projects lasting one year maximum will be considered.

Deadline for applications: 12 noon, Monday 16^th May 2022 (Panel decision June 2022)

Applications are encouraged for climate change & nature actions such as transport, “green” energy and biodiversity.
