Our Community Commissioners stories

Swansea Poverty Truth Commission is an independent initiative hosted by SCVS. The Commission was launched in October 2022 at the Taliesin Arts Centre, Swansea.

At this launch event, eleven Community Commissioners living in the city shared their experiences of poverty with an invited audience.

Involve

Involve has a variety of schemes that engage people in need in Swansea. Involve recruit, train and support volunteers to be in a befriending/ Independent visitor role on a one to one or in a group setting to meet the needs of individual children, young people, families, adults with various needs or older people.
