Our Volunteering Projects

As well as running the Swansea Volunteer Centre, SCVS also run some direct volunteering projects which were developed as a response to an unmet need in the County.

Our Neighbourhood Project

Swansea Dementia and Carer Project

A partnership between SCVS and Swansea GP Clusters, and funded by the West Glamorgan Regional Partnership (ICF Dementia Funding); Swansea Dementia and Carer Project supports people living with Dementia, and carers of people with Dementia, registered in GP Practices in Swansea. Read more

    Mental Health Development Service

    The Mental Health Development Service at SCVS facilitates joint working between voluntary organisations and statutory organisations. The service enables voluntary organisations to have their views taken into account when decisions are made regarding the planning and delivery of mental health services across the ABMU health board. The development service also supports and facilitates the local voluntary sector Mental Health Forum and provides mental health related information and resources.
