Swansea Contribution Corner Swansea Contribution Corner links individuals who have items to donate with local groups/organisations that need these items. The Contribution Corner circulates resources - repurposing them and reducing waste while providing not for profit organisations and groups with an additional resource to support their projects. We are looking for surplus items that are too good to go to Recycling Centres, but not appropriate as a donation to a charity shop or local food bank. Current offers Swansea Contribution Corner is a support for third sector groups and organisations in Swansea. Items can only be given to a group\organisation and not to an individual for their sole benefit. Click here to see what is being offered Make an offer Anyone, (individuals\organisations\businesses) can make an offer of a donation. Items must be given for free. Read the information below for details on the types of items which can be donated and further criteria. What can I donate? Only items (i.e. 'objects') can be donated. These may include: Craft items (e.g. paper, card, sequins, glitter). Textiles (e.g. fabric, buttons, thread) Building materials (e.g. bricks, tiles, wood) Plants (e.g. flowers, trees) Office furniture (e.g. desks, chairs, storage) Please note, Swansea Contribution Corner is a connection service - it cannot collect or store items, that will need to be arranged between the person donating and recipient organisation. What Swansea Contribution Corner is NOT for: The Contribution Corner is for surplus items that are too good to go to the Recycling Centres, but not appropriate as a donation to a charity shop or local food bank. Items that are NOT suitable may include: Donation of food, hygiene products or cleaning products – these should be donated directly to the local Food Bank: Food banks + support - Swansea Donation of clothing, shoes and accessories – these should be donated directly to local charity shops. Donation of household furniture or large electrical items – these should be donated directly to local charity shops. Any groups or organisations which are interested in the offer are then able to contact SCVS. We will share further details with applicants on a first come first served basis. (Items can only be given to a group\organisation and not to an individual for their sole benefit.) We are not involved in any arrangements for delivery/collection of the offer. This is to be organised between the person donating and the receiving organisation.
